Good to know

  • Cover ends at your warehouse — or 60 days after sea discharge, 7 days after inland arrival, if earlier
  • Storage after delivery is not covered — that's Property Insurance
  • Piracy is covered at sea; war is not
  • Your duty: minimise the loss and preserve rights against carriers — reasonable costs are reimbursed
  • Sea cargo wording follows English law and practice; policy conditions follow Nepalese law and the Insurance Act, 2079
