About the Role
Qualification / Skill Set Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Insurance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field
- Good understanding of general insurance products
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Reviewing proposal forms and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy
- Assessing risk and applying company underwriting standards to each application
- Coordinating with the Underwriting department at Head Office for policies outside branch authority
- Maintaining accurate records of issued policies and renewals
